American Eventing Championships

We headed south last week for the American Eventing Championships at Chattahoochee Hills in Georgia. Rox finished 11th in the advanced championship after a mostly good dressage test - he threw in a couple of bucks - a really great cross-country round, and a good show jumping round that had a couple of rails down when he got a little too bold to a couple of fences. It was a good outing as we gear up for the Fair Hill CCI*** next month and gave me a few things to think about in our preparations.

My wonderful young horse Ricardo Time was supposed to compete as well but he wasn't feeling 100% so we withdrew just to be on the safe side. Hopefully he'll be back in action and bringing home blue ribbons again soon!

Now we are headed home to New Jersey, and my fall schedule includes Plantation Field, Morven Park and of course Fair Hill. I'm available for lessons and clinics so if you'd like to schedule something, please get in touch!
